How You Will Contribute

Pulsara’s Customer Success Specialist is accountable to serve the Metro Houston area, as a Pulsara platform and clinical expert with specific attention to customer training and project management.


  • Responsible for expanding the sales pipeline while strengthening and engaging existing customers and partners.
  • Responsible for proactively owning and managing a portfolio of Pulsara ONE and Pulsara UNITED customers, becoming their trusted advisor and influencer. 
  • Accountable for developing and building strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors. 
  • Responsible for understanding customers’ needs and priorities, in order to optimize their use of the Pulsara platform.
  • Responsible for effectively communicating platform features and product information for new releases and facilitating their adoption.
  • Serves as the voice of the customer by providing internal feedback on how Pulsara can better serve our customers.
  • Maintains solid knowledge of all customers within the territory post initial sale, in preparation for secondary sales opportunities.
  • Proactively build and identify opportunity signals and generate expansion opportunities (up-sell, add-on, cross-sell, etc.)
  • Be an expert on the platform, with a deep understanding of its capabilities and value.
  • Utilize internal tools to accurately track and maintain accurate data for the pipeline, forecasts, and activity tracking.
  • Be an onsite resource during stress events (Hurricane, Pandemic, extended MCI) to assist Texas EMTF operations.
  • Other duties as assigned


How We Will Measure Success 

Responsible for the following:

  • Creation and maintenance of Success Plans for all UNITED customers; identifying short-term & long-term objectives and clearly defined milestones to reach them.
  • Coordination with multiple departments and teams to ensure sales objectives and performance goals are met.
  • Proactively establishing professional relationships with Key Stakeholders.
  • Managing customer expansion initiatives
  • The CSS - Houston will maintain Pulsara Super Admin access.

Accountable:

The Regional Vice President (RVP) of the respective region is accountable for the Customer Success Specialist - Houston. 

  • The CSS - Houston will report directly to the CSM.

Consulted:

  • The CSS - Houston will regularly consult with the Regional Vice President (RVP), Regional Sales Manager (RSM), Customer Success Manager (CSM), and other Customer Success Specialists (CSS) to ensure initiatives are in alignment with the respective regional Strategic Plan.
  • The CSS - Houston will also work with other regions in the event regional lines are crossed by different facility geographical regions. 
  • The CSS - Houston will consult other Pulsara Teams as necessary based on strategic initiatives. 

Informed:

  • The CSS - Houston will use current methods of communication and reporting (Currently HubSpot) to inform those who need such information.

  • Ability to work remotely in a technology-based environment, with access to high-speed internet for internal Pulsara and external-facing video conferencing.
  • Proficient in general business technology with quick-learning capability for new applications;  Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides, CRM tools, etc.
  • Understanding of industry compliance standards including HIPAA privacy and security requirements.


What You Need

  • Ability to set strategy and drive results across teams through the ability to lead, motivate, and influence others.
  • An aptitude for metrics-based analysis and knowledge of healthcare communication workflows related to the Pulsara Platform. 
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to perform in a collaborative setting with a strong desire, and track record, to be a critical part of a high-functioning, geographically distributed team.
  • Ability to work remotely in a technology-based environment, with access to high-speed internet for internal Pulsara and external-facing video conferencing. 
  • Proficient in general business technology with quick-learning capability for new applications; Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides, CRM tools, etc. 
  • Understanding of industry compliance standards including HIPAA privacy and security requirements. 
  • Bachelor’s degree desired. 
  • 5+ years of healthcare experience. 
  • 3+ years experience in project management, with proficient knowledge of SaaS model companies,  sales operations utilizing CRM systems, and healthcare industry standards.  In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
